Responsible for the management, administration, and technology enablement of all employee benefit plans, related programs, and other assigned responsibilities supporting our seven multi-state locations.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Documents and maintain administrative procedures and practices for all assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Fosters and maintain productive relationships with all existing healthcare benefits, welfare programs, and retirement plan vendors
  • Administers program enrollments, claims, and terminations
  • Participate in periodic benefit plan audits and program reviews
  • Resolves employee issues with benefit administrators, insurance companies, and third-part employee advocates
  • Proactively identifies areas for process improvement
  • Responsible for new hire tracking and enrollment, life events, missed contribution and recovery
  • Conduct benefits reconciliation work to ensure that billing errors are corrected within the companies HR technology platform.
  • Addresses employee benefit inquiries
  • Follows policies and procedures, completes tasks accurately and on-time, supports the organizations core values and goals
  • Captures metrics to optimize program participation, drive process efficiency, and constantly improve employee service levels
  • Designs, recommends, and implements new benefit and human resources programs
  • Primary contact for program vendors and third-party administrators
  • Evaluate and revise internal processes to improve service delivery and lower costs
  • Ensures program compliance and timeliness of required reporting and fees
  • Provides periodic analysis of competitiveness of Southwark’s program to attract and retain employees
  • Recommends cost containment strategies and alternative funding methodologies
  • Provides training to field HR team and other stakeholders of offerings, standard processes and procedures, technology application, and recordkeeping
  • Other duties as assigned
