About the Role You’re the connector who makes Cobalt tick—linking our people, our spaces, and our systems so we can do our best work every day. You’ll shape culture and engagement, lead training and growth programs, keep payroll and benefits running smoothly, and ensure our work environments—whether in-person or virtual—are safe, inspiring, and productive.
This role is part strategist, part hands-on operator. You’ll balance big-picture workforce planning with the daily details that keep our team thriving.
What You’ll Do
Culture & People Experience
Lead programs that connect and engage our team, in-office and remote.
Organize recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and inclusive events.
Plan all-hands, town halls, and hybrid-friendly gatherings.
Run engagement surveys and turn feedback into action.
Learning & Growth
Build onboarding, training, and leadership development programs.
Keep our training calendar current and track completion rates.
Partner with managers to close skill gaps with targeted learning.
Operations & Compliance
Process payroll accurately and on time (Rippling experience a plus).
Manage benefits enrollment, vendor relationships, and employee support.
Maintain compliant, accurate employee records.
Oversee PTO, FMLA, and other leave programs.
Partner with leadership on headcount forecasting and workforce analytics.
Workplace & Facilities
Keep our workspaces functional, safe, and inspiring.
Manage vendor contracts for cleaning, maintenance, and security.
Oversee mail, shipping, supplies, and space planning.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards and security protocols.
Requirements
5+ years in People Operations, HR, Facilities, or Workforce Planning.
Experience building culture, engagement, and training programs.
Payroll and benefits expertise (Rippling preferred).
Skills in headcount planning, workforce analytics, or staffing strategy.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
Strong organizational, vendor management, and communication skills.
