Description

Pond Lehocky Giordano, the largest workers’ compensation and disability law firm in Pennsylvania, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our highly successful team. The HR Generalist supports the Payroll and HR functions by ensuring the thorough, timely, and accurate completion of critical tasks. Working collaboratively with other Firm team members, this individual will handle all tasks associated with semi-monthly payroll processing. This individual will play an integral part in the administration of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration and employee relations. They will build relationships with Firm companies and employees in order to help them with their human resource needs. We are looking for someone to be onsite at our Center City office at least three days a week.



Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Payroll. Update payroll records by reviewing, confirming, or entering changes in areas such as exemptions, insurance changes, deductions, PTO, status, and pay. Prepares payroll by working within the Paycom platform to verifying time records, enter bonuses, and make other necessary adjustments. Balance payroll accounts by auditing information; identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Paycom. Acts as an internal expert resource for employees to assist in navigating the Paycom platform and to run reports for internal and external needs.
  • Reporting. Produce reports for Management, Partners, and Executive Team Members as necessary and appropriate.
  • Payroll Administration. Works with third party providers such as 401(k) advisors, benefit brokers, HCMT, etc. to ensure appropriate administration of each function and to provide proper information to staff.
  • Documentation. Provides support by producing and coordinating documents, information, and events related to various areas of the employee lifecycle and firm operations. Examples include offer letters, benefits forms, verifications of employment, separation information, all team meetings, committee events, etc.
  • Compliance. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal responsibilities
  • Employee Relations. Coordinate evaluation, documentation, and resolution of employee issues and concerns, including performance management, investigations and disciplinary discussions.
  • Recruitment: Coordinate recruitment and interview processes with employees and applicants.  Maintain documentation regarding recruitment and hiring activities.
  • Contributes to human resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • Maintains employee and management confidence and protects organization operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
  • Improves human resources job knowledge by attending training sessions; reading technical publications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related area
  • 3 or more years HR Generalist experience and in front facing role including employee relations, recruitment and / or business partner
  • 3 or more years of demonstrated experience with Payroll and / or Human Capital Management Technology platforms; Paycom experience preferred
  • Skilled in Human Resources processes and procedures
  • Effective communicator with all levels of an organization from Executive Management to employees
