
Description
Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association, a large multi-specialty medical practice, is in search of a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Healthcare Recruiter). This is a full time in-office position located in Bryn Mawr, PA.
We are looking for an energetic individual with a lot of personality who can handle working in a demanding medical facility environment. This is a newly created position and is the only recruiting position for the company. The ideal candidate will need to be equipped with creative ideas, a go-getter attitude, and the ability to put processes into place.
Here is a sampling of just some of the job duties this position will be performing:
- Proactively source and recruit active and passive candidates by using job posting sites, career pages, databases, social media, etc. to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone or Zoom screenings/interviews.
- Manage the behavioral assessment process.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct reference checks.
- Draft offer letters.
- Send new hire welcome emails.
- Manage the Careers section of the company’s webpage.
- Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy.
- Organize and participate in job fairs, open houses, and community events.
- Build relationships with universities and professional organizations.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between the candidate and the hiring manager- Provide vetted candidates to managers; set up candidate interviews with managers; obtain feedback from candidates and managers; extend job offers or send rejection letters based on manager decisions.
- Maintain a database of candidate records.
- Create and provide analytical recruiting reports.
- Other HR duties outside of the recruiting function as needed.
Requirements

- Must think outside of the box and develop creative options to attract qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of candidate selection methods and sourcing tools.
- Must be detailed oriented, organized, be able to work independently, and be able to prioritize work effectively.
- Demonstrate optimism, high-energy, and enthusiasm.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- 2-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
- Experience recruiting for healthcare positions is preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking and HRIS Systems is preferred.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; College degree is preferred.
This position will be based 100% in the office. Fully remote or hybrid work arrangements are not an option.
